Hi, my name is Alina and I am the founder of Dacus. I created Dacus Skincare as an expression of my reverence for nature and its timeless power to heal, balance, and restore.

I believe true beauty is meant to glow naturally, the way nature intended.

My own skin challenges began later in life, pushing me to draw on my background in healthcare, biology, and nutrition while expanding my knowledge of herbal remedies. In my thirties, I faced overly sensitive skin, hormonal imbalances, and persistent breakouts—struggles that inspired me to create gentle, effective solutions. That journey inspired me to blend science with ancient tradition in the meticulous crafting of Dacus products—tallow-based and oil-based formulations - designed to nurture, restore, and maintain healthy, youthful-looking skin.

Motherhood brought an entirely new perspective. When my children developed their own skin concerns, I felt the frustration of not finding natural remedies that truly worked. That experience became the heart of Dacus: skincare that is safe, effective, and rooted in the wisdom of nature for the whole family.​

Our tallow-based products are made with 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef tallow sourced from trusted Southern Ontario farms and paired with organic, steam-distilled therapeutic-grade oils. Our oil-based formulations combine potent organic, raw, and unrefined oils with therapeutic-grade botanicals to create powerful serums that revitalize and restore the skin.
